Verifiable Commercial Leases for Corporate Compliance
When cross-border companies set up commercial accounts, complete platform merchant verifications, or undergo regulatory audits, they are frequently asked for a formal commercial office lease and a utility bill issued in the business's legal name. Generic virtual offices cannot fulfill these legal requirements, which is why TruLease by VirtualPostMail was created.
Standard vs. Annual Plan Breakdown
TruLease operates in prime business hubs across California, Delaware, and Florida, with two enrollment options:
- Standard Plan (Monthly Payments with a 1-Year Term):
- Monthly Cost: $600 / month (billed monthly, tied to a 12-month agreement).
- Capital Requirements: Requires a $1,200 security deposit plus proof of funds demonstrating liquidity to cover 12 months of rent.
- Utility Onboarding: Requires a $200 processing fee if you order a corporate utility bill.
- Annual Plan (Prepaid Year, Most Efficient):
- Monthly Cost: Equivalent to $350 / month, billed annually at $4,200 (prepaid for 1 year).
- Capital Requirements: $0 security deposit and no proof of funds required.
- Utility Onboarding: Includes a $200 annual credit that completely covers the utility setup fee.
Both plans include one named commercial tenant, 150 content scans per month (10 pages per scan), up to 5 recipient names, weekly physical mail pickups, full virtual mailbox integration, and free Registered Agent service. Review terms and options at the TruLease Pricing Portal.
Application Requirements and Utility Clarifications
- Documentation Requirements: To apply for TruLease, you must provide certified corporate formation documents (Articles of Organization/Incorporation), an official EIN confirmation letter from the IRS, authorized officer identification, and a notarized USPS Form 1583.
- Distinguishing Landlord vs. Corporate Utility Bills: Complimentary utility bills under the landlord's name do not equal a bill under your company's name. Ordering a dedicated bill under your corporate entity is a separate, fee-based add-on; third-party utility installation and recurring consumption charges are billed directly. The physical street address is disclosed once the lease draft is initiated.
- Compliance Focus: TruLease is designed strictly for commercial enterprise compliance. It cannot serve as a personal residence and does not guarantee underwriting decisions by third-party institutions.
